The team behind the former brand “Dr. Gut” offers holistic and scientific help for people with persistent digestive problems. The existing name was to be changed so that it “conveys more closeness than distance and a genuine brand character”.
The challenge for the renaming was to suggest the topic of digestive complaints and irritable bowel syndrome and at the same time develop a name that sounds more like well-being than discomfort. The English word “belly”, which has a friendly sound is turned into a strong brand name by adding the syllable “em”. The syllable combines the powerful effect (empower) of the products with the empathetic approach of the team. Embelly - an all-round successful name - and brand identity - for a holistic consulting approach.
